Kristie Marr has experience working in the health and human services field as a medical social worker. This role allowed Kristie to assist in the creation of programs as well as develop numerous tools to assist individuals in crisis situations and meet the overall needs of patients and their families. Kristie began her work in public health research in 2014 as a Project Coordinator at Winthrop University’s Center for Social Welfare Research and Assessment. At Winthrop, Kristie coordinated research projects and supervised demonstration staff and projects for the SC Department of Social Services. Since 2015, Kristie has been pursuing her interest in public health research as a Project Manager at OROD. In her current role, she manages research and training projects for partner agencies, ensuring that OROD ‘s deliverables are timely and high quality.
